Fire Fighters fighting for a good cause
Jonathan Claybourn Pictured above (Front- Bottom) suited in his Fire fighting gears with fellow fire fighters will be heading to the Auckland Sky Tower this May. Unlike a tourist who will be visiting the Sky Tower for a bit of sight seeing Jonathan will be joining 400+ firefighters to climb the Sky Tower stairs in support of the Leukemia and Blood Cancer Foundation. These fire fighters have been asking for people to sponsor them to do this stair climb and all of the funds raised will be going towards the LBC Foundation, it’s a great cause and many people have offered their support by sponsoring or donating.
Fire fighters across New Zealand will be suiting up, yes that’s right they will be suiting up in their fire fighting equipment and running the stairs in full gear! Now that’s impressive, I had spoken briefly about this subject to Jonathan and he shared that the first time he ran the sky tower stairs was really hard. Since then he has participated in the event again and apparently didn’t find it as hard as he did the first time.
Well Done Jonathan it’s great to see you supporting a great cause and you have our full support.
Casey Ercolano offered his support by dressing in a Christmas Onesie and heading out onto the Napier streets asking for donations he gathered a fare amount of donations, Thank you CASEY!
